Billing Specialist - Contract
Compensation: Up to $45/hr
Start Date: ASAP

A growing law firm is seeking a Billing Specialist to support a newly restructured finance team and help clear a significant billing backlog. This is a fully remote contract opportunity ideal for experienced legal billing professionals who can hit the ground running.

Qualifications

  • Strong legal billing experience required
  • Hands-on experience with both Aderant and BillBlast required
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Billing compliance experience is a significant plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and process attorney billing accurately and efficiently
  • Manage high-volume billing workflows and meet established deadlines
  • Work directly within Aderant and BillBlast to generate, edit, and finalize invoices
  • Ensure billing compliance requirements are met and identify potential issues proactively
  • Support the Billing Director in reducing outstanding billing backlog and improving workflow efficiency
